America's Army: Special Forces (Overmatch) v2.8.3 has been released. America's Army is one of the ten most popular PC action games played online. It provides players with the most authentic military experience available, from exploring the development of Soldiers in individual and collective training to their deployment in simulated missions in the War on Terror.In America's Army: Special Forces, the follow-up to America's Army: Operations, players attempt to earn Green Beret status by completing individual and collective training missions drawn from the Special Forces Assignment and Selection (SFAS) process.
Players who complete the SFAS process have the opportunity to take on elite Special Forces roles and are qualified to play in multiplayer missions with units ranging from the elite 82d Airborne Division to the 75th Ranger Regiment.
The new Instant Action mode of America’s Army v2.8.3 allows you to quickly jump into the AA action without the need to complete training first. Now with Instant Action Recruit status you can play alongside veteran AA gamers and complete training at your convenience. Instant Action is available on any mission that is not restricted to Special Forces only players. You will need to complete Basic Combat Training in order to achieve honor levels higher than Honor 20, plus you'll gain the benefits of improving your skills as a soldier with each training level you complete! Your Honor will remain at 20 until you pass BCT, at which point you will receive all of the additional experience points you have accrued.
