Turbine Announces Welcome Back to LOTRO Weekend

After adding Book 13 content into the game, Turbine is going to hold an event to welcome their former players to experience all the new fun. This "Welcome Back to LOTRO Weekend"
event will last from May 8th to 12th, where all the former players can play their old characters for free.

Here is what they said about the event:

Play your old characters, check out the LOTRO Anniversary celebration events, explore new areas, and tackle new quests. Just log into your LOTRO account from May 8-12, 2008 and we'll take care of the fun and adventure.
