The Tales of Pirates team is set to roll out two highly useful and long awaited items - the Book for Regaining Ability and Great Fusion Catalyst. Don’t know what these items are for? Well, neither do we, so we’ve got the ToP team here to fill us in on the details.

Book for Regaining Ability
All players have a few regrets about their time spent as a newbie. Gold wasted, time spent wandering maps in a confused stupor, skill points wasted in unnecessary ways…Well, we can’t do anything about those lost hours spent wandering, but with the Book for Regaining you don't have to feel bad about wasted skill points anymore. This book lets you reset these points so you can distribute them the way you should have in the first place!

The Great Fusion Catalyst
Many gear and apparel sets have been improved and strengthened at least once; it’s probably one of the first things players consider after upgrading to higher level gear. After that first upgrade, what do you do next, risk upgrading again? Use the Great Fusion Catalyst and give it a shot to improve the gear further!

To really understand how this helps, think of the Great Fusion Catalyst as an insurance policy against failure. When upgrading gear the first time, you have nothing to lose. If you fail, the attributes of the gear will remain unchanged. However, if you’ve already upgraded the gear once and the second upgrade fails, the added attributes from the first upgrade will be wiped out, and you’re back to square one. So, instead of hoping lightning strikes twice and you get two perfect upgrades, throw the Great Fusion Catalyst in with the second upgrade and you don't have to worry about losing the attributes from your previous upgrade.
