Phoenix Dynasty Online - 7125 New Year Patch – Prolog: Phoenix Returns

Phoenix Dynasty Online has just released its New Year 7125 Patch - Prolog: Phoenix Returns. In this patch, not only does PDO embrace much amelioration but also several unique quest campaigns are added in the game.

The patch contains the following changes and brand new functions:

Names Change:
Since Chinese pinyin names are very hard to remember and the names cause a lot of troubles to our players, we updated the names of NPCs, cites and some monsters. Hopefully this change will let you play this game more easily.

Quest Description:
A lot of players stated in our forum that the quest description is not friendly to them. We have taken your suggestions very seriously and have updated the quest description. Now the description of states' quests is more detailed. Coordinates of NPC, Boss Mobs are marked in each quest. Because of these modifications, the quests will be easier to handle and you can play with greater efficiency in the game world.

Quest Experience:
We also made a satisfying increase of the experience of every States' Quests. You will gain abundant experience after finishing your quest since this patch. You will get to another level or even several levels in the blink of an eye!

Reputation:
We also increased the reputation points gained by completing quests. With higher reputation, you can participate in more activities in Phoenix Dynasty Online.

Elemental Magic:
Elemental magic is a major change in the new patch. Players could only gain elemental magic by killing the monsters in the Elemental Fairy Realm in the previous version. Now, you will gain it and learn the new skills directly after you’ve completed the Skill Training Quest. It will save you a lot of time in Elemental Fairy Realm.

Major Element Attribute:
Most players think Five Elements Quest is really hard to understand so gaining major element attribute quest is really difficult to complete. Now we lower the difficulty of gaining the major element attribute. You can gain the major element attribute just by talking with the Element Master. You can also gain your element attribute by doing the Element Quest after you reach level 20. It’s your choice to do the quest or not.

Difficulty of the quests:
Some players will have problems when joining a state. We also make the Citizenship Quest easier. You do not need to team with others to fight against the Boss to complete your Citizenship Quest. You can handle them all by yourself now. So hurry up and obtain a citizenship, and then you can join a guild!

World Chat Interval:
The Chat Interval for World Channel is reduced to 15 seconds. This change will let you communicate with the whole world more conveniently.

Drop Rate of Guild Quests:
The Items Drop Rate for Guild Quests is increased. Recruiting more members will be much easier than before.

We have made all these amelioration by popular demands and we sincerely hope that new PDO could bring you more enjoyments. What’s more, the new patch also furnishes PDO with three unique quest campaigns.

They are the campaigns of Prince Peculiar, of Team Quest and of Tower of No-regrets, which are all well adjusted to make PDO increasingly more appealing. Here are the some brief introductions of the campaigns for your reference.

Team Quest: players can purchase quest scrolls form the lieutenant in the SunCity, which entitle they to gain the admission to some refinery caves where various monsters infest. In case players successfully eliminate all monsters in the cave, they can claim rewards form the lieutenant.

Tower of No-Regrets: In stipulated time, players can enter into a formidable 14-floor tower called tower of No-Regrets where horrible monsters infest and stand ready to devour any invaders. By killing the monsters in the tower players can procure precious mount.

Prince Peculiar Quests: players could receive the quests of equipment crafting, message sending, mobs killing, scrolls purchasing and items searching from a NPC Prince Peculiar stationed in the SunCity. These quests are assigned to players in a stochastic sequence and ten quests form a quest line. Players can claim their rewards from Prince Peculiar after finishing a complete quest line.
