Corum Online is a dungeon-based MMORPG. The story of Corum Online begins in the land of Elland. Elland was a natural wonder, a playground for the Gods, and it was in a constant cycle of creation and destruction. Long ago, an evil mortal dictator rose to power. At the height of his power, he performed evil rituals which destroyed the land and created a horrid world. The following years of strife transformed the land of Elland into Corum, and split the world into 14 different nations, each with their own dynasties and troubles. Over hundreds of years, peace was slowly restored, and a growing need arose to unite the 14 nations and work together to eliminate the remaining evil from the world. It is now time for the people of Corum to work together to vanquish evil, or all will be lost.

In the world of Corum Online, players can choose between 6 different classes (Arcus, Fighter, Priest, Ranger, Sorceress and Summoner). Players have the ability to multiclass their characters. That means a Fighter can learn the abilities of a Priest or Sorceress, for example. This feature allows players to create a truly unique character.

Corum Online also offers multiple Siege Dungeons that can be owned by a player or guild, providing benefits to the owner. There are regularly scheduled siege times throughout the day where players battle for possession of the Siege Dungeons.
